Being a horrible organization just to tank to get a better junior asset, might be a good strategy, but not in Toronto. Not at all. Too many memories etc.... Being awful impacts the whole city, org. etc... Best to go out every night and see some light at the end of the tunnel. Is it just me or was anyone else not blown away by Connor Mcdavid? I don't think he is Crosby, Malkin or even Tyler Seguin, or even Phil Kessel.

I can understand being eliminated and wanting good character losses for the final 10 games of the season.

But being 35 games away from the finish line, it's a bit early to want them to lose every game.
 
Here's the thing, if they win they win, if they lose they lose. I'm just not going to revel in the losses in the hopes that we draft 5th instead of 7th. Some of you ****s played that game once and the product of it was ending up with Kadri & JVR instead of the Schenns.

Well, in fairness, you can't expect to draft a dud and trade him for a stud every time.

If we miss the playoffs, I hope it's by a bunch too. But it's premature right now to know if we're even going to miss, not to mention by how much.

Don't know if anyone is aware but they are creating a Pacific division in the AHL. Anaheim, L.A. and San Jose are moving their AHL franchises locally. Cap, Cap, Cap. So the Leafs are not the only ones having a geographic advantage that way anymore.

That's exactly the point...you never know how this is going to turn out. Regardless of our finish, we need to draft well, develop well. Simply finishing a few spots lower is no guarantee of anything and isn't something a fan should actively be cheering for.

As I told him, I have no reason to insult her. She has the required level of sense to not do something as blatantly ridiculous as this clown does annually.

Up there with the Oakland Raiders and the 76'ers as probably the most embarrassing franchises in their respective leagues. I have never seen a group with such little mental fortitude in my 28 some odd years of living. It is truly astonishing.
