I ike how we played good to great vs the Hawks/Blues/Hawks and terrible against boston, toronto, columbus.
LOL @ Lecture. Pretty sure I said that in one sentence, but fair enough? Too bad I was wrong.
Anyways, with this upcoming schedule and the return of Price its pretty safe to say that we will do OK.
Here are our next 13 games:
Boston
Toronto
Columbus
Columbus
Post -All-Star:
Philly
Buffalo
Edmonton
Carolina
Tampa
Buffalo
Arizona
Colorado
Philly
We will probably win at least 8 of those games, and potentially up in the 10 range.
If not, then we can trade some high priced talent to kick-start a re-tool.
The season ends today. January 26th, 2016.

We win 5 in a row. We're due.
You was saying, sir.
I was clearly wrong about this team continuing their journey (without reprieve) into the dark pits of NHL hell.
It's okay, nothing wrong with some optimism . . . but this has completely spiraled out of control.
more like, I didn't believe that such an extended stretch of futility was mathematically probable. the worst part of it is that in December, when the odds of the Habs making the playoffs was over 90% I wrote here that I wanted to hedge my bets and find a way to bet against the Habs making the playoffs. I was hoping to get ridiculous odds (like 20-1) but I couldn't even find such a bet
How about the inability to score more than twice a game?Sub .900 save % since Dec. 1. It all starts there.

Goaltending is a hugh part of it. The bad guys on the other side have had superior goaltending in almost every game since the slide started. Arizona lost Smith and Domingue just stepped in and played like Smith wasnt missed at all. I think with better goaltending replacement for Price the Habs would have something like 58 points today and safely in a playoff position.
