Singapore for 6 days, Tokyo for 4 days, and Hong Kong for 3-4 days.

Ideas for Singapore and Hong Kong are welcome.

Depends what you want to do.

My impression of Key West was that it's a boomer retirement village. Lots of people with money. Old hippies and biker types that got rich.

It's a pretty laid back atmosphere.

Also supposed to be a very gay place, but I didn't see much evidence of that, but I was only ever there in the daytime.

I'd go for a couple of days.

Can anyone tell me if key west is worth it? Always really appealed to me but it costs a lot more than most of Florida.

It has Key Lime pie and Hemingway House, it's nice for a day or two but I wouldn't stay too long.

Don't they have that supposed haunted doll too, Robert I think he's called, in Key West? Apparently there's a good paranormal collection in a weird museum near the Hemingway House.

That could be worth a visit for some random strange fun.

I don't know man, seeing a hurricane roll in would be kind of awesome. I've been in some good tropical storms before but nothing going legit hurricane level....would be a good story to tell later on it nothing else

I hear you. There's a part of me that would be excited to experience a tropical storm or hurricane, but there's another part that wouldn't enjoy it if things got dangerous, especially with me staying on the beach. Evacuating would suck too.

Looks like I'll be good stormwise. The tropical disturbance (99L) hasn't strengthened much and is forecasted to hit south Florida, away from where I'm staying. Will get some wind and rain though.

I did a strange thing this weekend. I did my first convention. It was a paranormal convention in Michigan. Saturday night was hilarious. All the Ghost Hunter guys had drunken groupies all over them. Do you really brag about banging a Ghost Hunter from the Syfi network?

Caught the edge of a typhoon in Japan a few years ago. Didn't really live up to the hype -- just forced me to change my itinerary.
