Yeah, I would be surprised and disappointed if it plays out like this.

I also think this is the year Montreal falls flat on its face, even with Price playing.
 
So apparently Michel Therrian called Pacioretty the worst captain in Canadiens history at a golf tournament.

Guess thats why they went so hard after "leadership" this offseason.

Well, clearly then, the solution for Bergevin is to ship Pacioretty off for an older, rapidly declining vet on a bad contract.
 
Speaking of Lupul he was no where to be found at the Leafs' charity golf event this week. He can't be that hurt. My bold prediction of him scoring 13 before the trade deadline is in jeopardy

Yeah, it seems pretty likely that he's played his last game as a Leaf.

All that's left to be determined is the manner of his disappearance from the team.
 
Doubtful. If it was one year left on his deal, maybe. But you can't hide him and his salary for two years.

The best bet is to get him in the lineup and let him play and maybe get lucky with a streak of health and scoring till the deadline.
