Leafs roll into Brooklyn for an early start on a back-to-back road game. They have to be feeling pretty good about themselves after carrying much of the play against the Habs the previous night.

Fortunately, the Islanders are a struggling team. Their possession numbers are weak, they aren’t especially dangerous and the goaltending has been almost as bad as the Leafs.

The Leafs powerplay has been steadily improving. The Islanders, not so much.

As Nylander and Marner seem to alternate dominating games, looking for Mitch to put on a show tonight.
 
The Isles were seen as one of the great "Up and Coming" teams 1-2 years ago. It looks disappointing now where they are. The Ladd signing was so brutal.
 
The ice is so shit in Brooklyn. You're going to think it's a basketball game with how much that puck will bounce.

ya, don't get why they let okposo - who is younger, has had better numbers the past few years than ladd, and had some chemistry on the roster - walk only to turn around and give basically th esame contract to ladd.
 
Rare Sunday game. After we got robbed by Price last night, hopefully the Leafs can get a win tonight.

It's interesting every game to see which of the big 3 takes over the team and do amazing things.

I'd also like to see Corrado get a start tonight.

I thik Enroth starts tonight as well.
