Problem is, if you claim him on waivers, those tweaks & growing pains have to happen at the NHL level. Which isn't an exciting prospect, considering all the points & easier playoff seeding thrown away by our 1st half backups last year.Purely an eye test thing for me here, Subban is athletic as **** and a few tweaks turns him into a NHL goalie. Sparks is a fumble****ing mess every time I've watched him against NHL shooters.
And your eye-test aside, he's put up pretty mediocre AHL numbers the last two seasons, and has been the equivalent of a shooter tutor in his two brief NHL appearances.
