I'd have been pretty happy with that deal.
Was it though? There's no way to know. An argument could be made that his value is highest on July 2nd or 3rd when teams have missed out on the FAs they were targeting.

Because extrapolating based on what talking heads have been saying, no one seems to have offered up the 3-component deal MB demanded at deadline.
If the Muzzin + JAD Kings accepted offer is to be believed that would suggest MB has softened his demand to a 2-component deal.
I'm not saying he necessarily has more value now... but there are more possible teams interested now. Most teams likely feel they are a player or two away from competing next year. You get into the final couple months of the season and some of those teams have fallen off.
