OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

It could be a virus kept at the Wuhan facility that somehow infected a worker. We’ll never know, hence the conspiracy theories.
No I don’t think it was man made.

Cut down your wait times for groceries:

Yes, that map is in real time. It's piggybacking off of google maps data to tell us how long the current wait time is at your local grocery store

The scariest bit is what happens when rural doctors like him get sick? Or just run completely into the ground?

So much of the focus of this has been on the material. Shit that is absolutely necessary. But the biggest long term societal risk from covid might not be covid, it's the potential for leaving a smoking wreck where health care systems used to be.

Yep. It's another item on a long list of denials involved with this whole crisis.

Being in a rural area there is a big problem that I see. First of all, there is no testing for covid. You will not be able to see anyone unless you are in a life threatening situation. So therefore, there are no cases of covid here, makes sense right? So now we have people carrying on as if nothing is happening because of this line that I’ve heard multiple times “I don’t know anyone that has it”. Jesus!

Maybe their dark beers are good (I don't like dark beers in general) but I feel compelled to advise that mill st. is as bad a brewery as amsterdam. (Henderson and Goose Island also overrated mediocrities).

In-city breweries that are very good: bellwoods, bandit, maybe burdock, junction. Might be some newer ones I dont know yet.
I haven't finished the thread, but I wanted to add that I too have upgraded my palate to some more flavourful beers. I find though that the hoppier/bitter beers gives me a bad sleep/hangover and I taste that shit all night.

Speaking of Toronto breweries, I have liked two beers from Lost Craft here in Toronto. I like their Revivale and Unifeye. Both have a slight fruity flavour to the hops, but it doesn't end up bitter.

My summer/light easy drinking beer that doesn't give me any hangover problems is Landshark lager. It's a bud light replacement as I can drink a full fucking case of Budlight and feel nothing. At least landshark does get me drunk if I need it to.

If I want to go back to my euro roots, I have a love affair with Peroni.

And my cheap beers go to is Hollandia (2.20 for 500ml) or the good ol DAB.

This is my contribution

A slow motion train wreck is still a train wreck. All you can do is tally the cost when it's over.
