so how do we explain that they’ve only had 4 total cases in MHC if masks work? Plus that number has been stuck at 4 for weeks on WRAL.
I’m not being critical of your post just asking.
I think it’s hard to find relevant data on this stuff. Where is a number of current cases by location instead of total since the beginning?
There’s a lot more close contact in places like Raleigh than at some of the coast.

I don’t think it’s an accident that MHC essentially kept people from visiting and has a lower rate. After the Memorial Day crowd down there I’m interested to see what early July looks like. I worry about those folks in MHC, EI, etc cuz emergent healthcare is not good. At least ECU is not too far.

The Blue Jays shut their camp down due to a player exhibiting symptoms. One of their players recently spent time with players in the Phillies system. The 2 training camps are a 7 minute drive away from each other. Multiple Jays players at their facility said they hadn’t been tested yet.

I only did the CV test since it was free. I was not really having any symptoms. I might get the antibody test to see if I had it in the past but I have not been sick for over a year . Maybe I had no symptoms like some other people.

Yeah ... that was always going to happen with even vague interest from the AG's office. Not even sure why they tried to get away with it, given that Stubhub blatantly changed their terms of use to accommodate their new position with regard to refunds ... in the internet age ... when their entire customer base is at least moderately internet savvy. The screenshots hit Twitter like five minutes after they started sending emails about not releasing refunds. That's the kind of heel turn that makes you lose faith in humanity.

Oh ... and shoutout to one of my favorite cousins who works in consumer protection in the AG's office. She's one of the lawyers who writes that kind of letter ... and she stays busy, sadly.
 
So Manfred and the MLB owners are ready to implement the 60 game mandated season and set a deadline of 5 pm today for the players to sign off on the health guidelines and such. So the players left all that extra cash on the table along with a bunch of other things just so they can file the grievance and let the lawyers battle it out...good times!

So, a July 26th first pitch if somehow any of this plan gets off the ground...
 
What's sad is there are highly educated people , even scientists, who don't believe science they don't like. Like vaccines for example. They would rather listen to a preacher or politician instead of using what they learned in school or on the job. Vaccines are one of the greatest inventions ever.
 
Anyone traveling to New York, New Jersey OT Connecticut from North Carolina it a host of other states is subject to a 14 day quarantine upon arrival. It’s next to impossible to enforce, but there we are.

 
How do they enforce that? I guess they could look for flights but for driving good luck.

Reminds me of Candid Camera where they set up a sign that said Delaware is closed today at the border with PA on a side road. I think it was Delaware but my memory might be faulty.
 
I can envision NJ State Police checking license plates at the various bridges and pulling people over, that is what other states have done. For me it would be coming off the ferry in Cape May when they could give me 'the talk' about mandatory quarantine.
