That is the thing though.
Every parent sees their kid as having natural ability and the league's feed off that.
I haven't been involved in organized hockey for a long time.
When I was a kid, I played for the Nats for 3 years and they paid for everything.
My parents paid the team money for the organization and such.
But we had a few sponsor's to help with the costs.

Even the Ford's paid as a sponsor for our team.
I don't know how parents these days can handle the costs.
