Now just make them watch endless video of Washington's power-plays, so they can figure out how the Caps consistently find Ovi wide open for the shot everyone in the building knows he's looking to take, but somehow the Leafs can't do the same for Matthews.

Tbh matthews should be much more than an ovy like trigger man.

The PP early this year was a thing of beauty - every player moving and interchangeably swapping positions. Matthews can work well in literally any of those 5 slots....and so can most of the others on that top unit.
 
Why won’t they just let Sandin play any type of professional hockey game? This is getting stupid. Let him sit in Toronto and get ready for the Marlies in a couple of days once the week covid thing is done
 
I’m with Zeke here. Have them all move around, they’re all good enough at the hockey. Pucks going across and players moving are the key.

Granted, Hyman’s Jewish and so he doesn’t have a roughly equivalent sized cock for the puck to bounce in off. But even with that excellent tipping apparatus, no sane hockey observer wants Simmonds up there over Hyman, and certainly not this year the way he’s going.

Nah. But I do honestly think race is a reason he hasn’t been waived like Vesey and Boyd. He’s complete trash and you have to believe we could’ve used his cap space on someone who could actually help us rather than hurt us.

He's actually not remotely as bad as you think he is?

53% corsi
53% shot share
51% goal share
55% High Danger chance share
55.3% expected goal share

He's on the right side of the ledger of basically every shot measurement statistic. Vesey and Boyd were both worse than him in all of those measures and by a lot.

But yeah, it could totally be race related.
