For what it’s worth, I didn’t think the Tavares play warranted a penalty. Doesn’t mean I’m not pissed off about the Leaf luck that came from it.
I’ve been watching a lot of games this playoff and there is absolutely no certainty on what will or will not be a penalty. Even high sticks which should be pretty easy are not being called if the conditions of the game aren’t right.
The only thing being religiously called for all teams is the puck over the glass penalty.

and?
Yeah I agree, it definitely helps the parity agenda. It does add an unnecessary layer of randomness to the playoffs....which of course often helps the less talented teams.
The armchair sociologist in me thinks this is very Canadian and purposeful....in that it equals the footing between the have and have nots.
I mean I’m also concerned if the geezer line is our third line too"3rd line"
I haven’t seen concussion mentioned in any of the reports I’ve seen. They already announced he is out indefinitely with a concussion. And he injured his knee on the hit from chiarot
Keefe confirmed it. Let’s hope the recovery goes well and he returns sometime later in the playoffs, even if that looks unlikely at the moment.I haven’t seen concussion mentioned in any of the reports I’ve seen.

Yeah, it was a distraction to take away from the fact the Leafs are three games from losing...this was actually said.LOL the old media guys are lining-up trashing Dubas for knocking the Sun. Apparently Dubas cannot comment on this and concentrate on the playoffs. Impossible.

Most of the forwards have played well. A few of the one game guys weren't great - Galy, Tavares, Nash - but the one that had been very bad in both games is Jumbo. Might be a worry spot there.
With how well that 3rd line played last night it's gonna stay together for now at least - interesting to remember that that was actually Keefe's first choice of a 3rd line way back at the start of the year.
The 2nd line might be OK but might not. Galy didn't do much in his first game. And if Foligno is playing C you really can't afford any weak links on the wing. Hopefully Galy improves. If not, I can't get this vision of a Foligno-Spezza-Nylander line out of my head.
Bogo beasted last night. Not just in his own end but puckrushing like a madman and set up the equalizer. Putting any controversy over playing over dermott to bed quickly. Love it.
And Rielly has been legit great in both games so far imo. Suddenly looks way more confident and incisive than he has all year.
