Seems to me it was just Preston doing his usual trolling. I don’t think he actually hates French people. Any actual bigoted remarks towards Québecers are of course completely out of line and shouldn’t be tolerated anymore than casual homophobic slurs should be tolerated on here.

For the record, I have been taking French lessons for going on deux ans right now, so I think I can be excluded from the suspects being investigated for french bigotry here. Granted, I am learning it from a Parisian who says Quebecois don't even really speak french and he can't understand what the fuck they're saying ever, but that is besides the point.

Authentic Québécois cuisine is so much better than the stereotypical bland Anglo food one associates with mangiacakes here in Ontario it’s ridiculous. Truly next level stuff in terms of creativity, freshness of ingredients, and flavour. Anthony Bourdain knew his stuff and he respected the hell out of Québec’s real homegrown culinary scene for a reason.

LOVED seeing Anthony in Quebec. Definitely gained new respect for the cuisine there. Contrast that to his time in Toronto where he spent the entire time shitting on the entire city.. Heh. In fairness, Toronto has come a long way since that episode aired.
