I guess I don't typically see trash talk in hockey and even in other sports it's only the douches that do it after winning. Like even fighters are gracious afterwards. It's only the biggest of fucks that "trash talk" after.

I see these sorts of comments on a daily basis everywhere and in most cases it is not anyone thinking they’re being offensive. It’s worse online when we can’t really be assured about what a person’s intentions are, although this isn’t the case of long time posters I think we kinda know. It’s becoming really hard to know what can or can’t be said.

I’ve been fuming for a couple of weeks because I got a talking to at work for this: Co-worker asks me who prepared this sample, I said “I don’t know his name but he’s the Indian guy that works on this crew”. In this case that is the easiest identifier for a pretty average joe.
