The last late night start of the season

Both teams are surging, Vancouver has won 3 straight. Aho is on a 5 game multi-point streak, 1 away from tying the club record.

After Minnesota on Tuesday, the Canes have only 3 games outside the Eastern time zone the rest of the season; St. Louis on 3/26, Colorado on 4/16 and Arizona on 4/18. So we can catch up on our sleep.

This is a must win for the Hurricanes...at least the way I see it. I have a buddy who lives in Bali who is a professional underwater photographer & he is a huge Canucks fan that was was born & raised in Vancouver. We bet every time our two teams play, and this time the prize is two cases of San Miguel beer that's brewed in the Philippines. Not the best beer in the world, but it's all about the bet. Absolutely nothing would make me happier than to see & hang out with him again in Bali over beers he has to pay for. Unfortunately, I can't get to that side of the world right now because COVID has had it closed for 2 years.

Even though I don't need to, I occasionally remind him that Vancouver is the oldest franchise in the NHL never to have won a Stanley Cup. St. Louis winning it a few years ago turned up the heat on that too.

Let's GO 'Canes! Keep it rolling.
