Speaking of reheated dog food, I was recently given a bunch of gift cards that up to around $300 for Harveys/Swiss Chalet. I may hang on to some to gift but shit... Is there anything good at Swiss Chalet at least? Recommendations? I haven't been there in at least a decade. I don't know if I can do Harveys anymore. The drop in quality is tainting my memories of what used to be a decent fast food joint. This is a crisis. I need help.

Just had the quarter chicken dinner (white meat) from Swiss Chalet recently and it was really good. I mean it's rotisserie chicken, I'm not sure if you'd be expecting gold melted pheasant on a bed of caviar, but the chicken and fries were quite enjoyable and Chalet sauce rocks.

No SC for me since the 90s. That industrial chicken is sad and dry.

Harvey’s is somewhat edible (though I haven’t had it in 5 yrs, A-Dubs has replaced it in my rotation). You could probably trade your Harvey dollars to LOF for Delta points.

Swiss Chalet is fine. I go for the chicken and ribs with fries. Comes with coleslaw and a bun.

Shit. If Harveys is my best option I'm in trouble. I had it a couple of times last year and idk what the fuck happened but their meat went to complete shit. Like the buns tho.

Since I have a billion dollars worth I'm going to try Swiss Chalet at some point and report back. The sauce is very popular but I've always found it gross and nothing more than a pure sodium bomb. But I recognize I might be the crazy one with that since it's so popular.
 
Maybe I'll get the ribs! I think that's what I got at one point in my life. They just slather it in bbq sauce if I remember correctly to cover up any dryness or mediocre seasoning! I'M SO EXCITED!!!
 
The sauce is ok (hard to mess up completely with salt and fat) but it does God’s work trying to cover up chicken dry as shoes

In fairness I haven’t had it in ages, so maybe the product is decent now
 
Harvey's burgers aren't great compared to the competition, but if I do go there I usually get the buffalo chicken sandwich which is pretty good. Not earth-shattering, but if you start to question anything just remind yourself you're at fucking Harvey's.

It used to be legit good! I swear to god!! They changed the beef! If I remember right it was more of a "premium" fast food joint back in the day. Now it's about on par with the others in terms of pricing. As it should be!

I'll give a chicken sandwich a shot at some point tho.
