Same here. Usually Leaf playoff anxiety is enough to make me feel physically ill, but I’ve been completely calm all series, including today.

I guess it comes down to the attitude I’ve come into the playoffs with. It’s similar to something out of Band of Brothers, where Lt. Speirs tells a guy that the reason he’s a constantly terrified, shitty soldier is that he still has hope. And that to be an effective soldier, he basically has to accept that he’s already dead.

So, to be a calm, effective Leaf fan, you just have to abandon all hope and assume it’s a foregone conclusion that they’ll lose in the most embarrassing and heartbreaking way possible! And if something different happens, that’ll just be a pleasant surprise.

I can't recall a year in a long time where there were so many great players that Didn't even make the finalist list. Usually it's pretty simple who the 3 are in comparsion.

Other than yesterday afternoon I haven't been more tired than usual but that may speak to my normal level of tired.

Tylenol cold and flu and NAC appear to be handling it decently (as well as triple vaccinated)

I agree with Habsy. Survive the fire storm that is coming in the first period and I like their chances.

on edge. like you're watching the snow melt and the water level rises and you know you're gonna get flooded and it's gonna suck but you do not know when.

not feeling confident, but that's almost a coping mechanism at this point too...

I remain unconvinced. I'm somewhere between the LGM approach and normal fandom, but the scars of the past five years have not fully healed.
