Tampa was up one goal almost midway through the 3rd and the Leafs were about to go on the PP. Stamkos (who doesn't play a lot of DZ lead defending shifts) took one of the best goal scorers of the modern era out of the game (including the entire PP we got...which turned out to be abysmal) for well over half the remaining time on the clock because he knew the ref didn't have the stones to call the instigator and make it a 5-3.

It was genius level manipulation of the refs to take our best player out of the game when we needed his particular skill set most.
