….was pretty damn clear the second Keefe took over, that the team that was already built by Dubas was vastly superior to what Babcock was getting out of it.

And it’s a bullshit argument anyway, since it wasn’t like a bad-luck lightning bolt that came down and hit him last off-season.

It was Treliving’s own series of bad decisions that led up to losing Gaudreau for nothing as a UFA and Tkachuk ending up as a 24 year-old one season out from UFA that was unwilling to sign an extension.

We lost to the team that went to the Cup Finals 4 of the last 5 years…..who you lose to, (imo) is so much more relevant than what round. Three of those four went 7, if I’m not mistaken.

Only us and Boston haven’t missed a playoffs the last 7 years.

thats just being willfully blind to the impact luck plays in deciding game 7’s…we could have, and should have won a number of those.
