OT: The Official Toronto Raptors Thread

Would kind of honestly rather see Scottie make a jump in his mid range bag than focus too much on the 3. He's so big and long and can be so much of a bully working from the mid post, and doubling him is dangerous. Just a little step back or fade from there that was efficient...that could be nasty.

Really love Scotties back down/post up game tonight. If you don't put a centre or centre defending big on him (think Precious) you have like almost no chance.

RJ reminds me of a better shooting early DeRozen.

Is there something in the water that the Raps drink to not make their free through?

Prett crazy how both teams won that trade

Yeah, both teams got exactly what they needed. Though I'll say this, the Knicks immediately went out in the trade market trying to find something resembling the bench scoring IQ was giving them, and if RJ was playing like this before the trade, I don't think we get IQ+RJ, I think it turns into your choice + 1st.

Honestly don't see the fluid athleticism and mid range bag. RJ is a really hard player to drop a comparison on. Best I've come up with to this point is a left handed Jimmy Butler but even that has some flaws. A smaller guard/wing version of Randle might be the best comparison, funny enough.

When he first started as a Raptor, all he did was bull his way to the basket and look to finish at the rim or get fouled. His mid-range shot didn't come until a couple years later.
