Is it not exhausting to hate every person you disagree with politically? I think many Maga folks are stupid, others are brainwashed and others are simply misinformed. There are very few I actually hate though. I reserve that emotional for more heinous crimes.

Again, can we stop pretending that these are matters of politics? How much should the budget for public schools be? I say 1 Billion, you say 800 Million...that's a disagreement about matters of politics. "I should take your stuff" isn't a political disagreement.

Did he get the street sign for being an elite hockey player AND intelligent political analyst? If that's the case, I agree, they should remove it.

And you don't feel it's appropriate to remove a street sign over the guy it was given to later being part of foreign right wing authoritarian movement interested in taking over the country the street it is in?

“Political disagreement” makes it sound like we’re hating on Gretzky because we disagree with his stance on tax policy or healthcare spending.

Rather than his open support for an expansionist authoritarian who’s threatening to annex this country and who has even repeatedly suggested making Wayne the Gauleiter of Canada after annexation, with nary a peep from Wayne except for this whining and crying about Canadians being mean to him through third parties like Trump, Orr and his own wife.
 
If we stop honoring hockey players who wear that stupid cap or support the man/his movement, we'll be left with no one. Are we honoring them for their hockey accomplishments or there brain and opinions on politics? I have to admit, I don't get it. I'm all for mocking him or thinking he's an idiot but didn't we know that about hockey players already?
