For anyone wondering what’s going on, Mark Pomerantz worked at Paul, Weiss and assisted Cy Vance/Manhattan District with the investigation into his finances. Trump took revenge by issuing an EO restricting their access to federal buildings. They’ve apparently capitulated so he's rescinding the EO.

Yep, eliminating the federal department of education will just make stupid states stupider.

Feel somewhat bad for the people born in Missouri or whatever that have no choice, but on the other hand, the whole country can get fucked.
 
Probably can’t hurt.

That plan’s getting tossed in the garbage anyway, since Trump will be content to leave China to their sphere of influence and do nothing if they invade Taiwan.
