Again man, his deficiencies do not equal out the benefits. I get what you are saying, I really do, but the net sum is a negative with that guy.

0.840 & 0.894 is not good enough in a playoff race and not in the playoffs. Monty is a train teetering on the tracks and if he's not given more rest it will derail. Mark my words on that.

Habs were down 4-1 halfway through the 3rd period, to a top-3 Cup contender and came back to tie it up … they almost won it in regulation

We agree on the essence, we really are, I just don’t like the nitpicking. Monty wasn’t bad tonight. He was against Ottawa and NYI though.
 
Anyway I'm out. I did enjoy the comeback but they should have never been down three.

I’m so fucking tired of those so called muffins. Which ones was it?

The first one when we were getting peppered and the guy dropped a bomb from a drop pass?

The second one when the guy walked in all alone from a cross ice pass?

The third one on the PP on a tik tak toe?

Or the fourth one on a deflection?

Jesus fucking Christ, no mention of course of all the crazy clutch saves he did obviously. It’s not like he made 33 saves or anything.

I’ll call a weak goal when I see it, hell I might even give you the first one tonight even though that was a rocket, but for fucks sake get your expectations in check.

The trend is they don't give up.. the Avs, a True Cup Contender were all over us..the shots were like 12-2 ..Monty made some bigs saves in that time, to be down 4-1 and then tie it, it was fucking awesome.. . for every Monty "muffin" there were a few "muffins" before the goal.. this team is building character, I love it..
