Seems he wants to be a lifer in Pittsburgh. That said, they really should do a proper tear down and rebuild. I mean it's possible that he sees that and goes to management and says that he's willing to accept a trade. Maybe he sees what's happening in Montreal and knows that he could bring a Cup there and be a legend in 2 cities.

Realistically, what would you give for a 38 y/o Crosby coming off a 90 point season, with 2 years left at $8.7m? Let's say this happens at the draft.

I'd do both 2025 1sts, Anderson and Beck.

I believe he genuinely wants to stay in Pittsburgh... but I also believe he genuinely wants Pittsburgh to try to contend. It's going to be interesting to see what happens since they really should rebuild. What happens when some of Malkin, Letang, Karlsson, Rackell are traded?

I just can't imagine how a GM doesn't tear that team down.
