The one move I'd love to see is a 2-3 year deal for Duchene.

I find myself very intrigued by Elmer Soderblom of the Dead Things as an acquisition target for Habs…
Not sure if Det is even interested, but I really like his game enormous size + power combined w pace + soft hands

The rebuild is far from over. Right now, We are only benefitting from only two players drafted post rebuild (Slaf, Hutson). There is still the rest of 2022 on top of 2021 and then on top of those, the 2023 and 2024 drafts still to be spoken for in terms of long-term assets on the roster or trade assets.
I think more than a 2c, the roster should be focussed on goal prevention whether it’s in net or on defence that’s where we’re gonna get the most value in this division while the rest of it plays out
Can’t have another rookie replacing Savard and we cannot continue with Dobes

I just hope that Duchene will see the potential that the Habs would have with him... and that combined with growing up as a Hab fan would be enough for him to choose Montreal.
It would be a pretty exciting situation to step into for a guy like that.
