this is why trump is convinced that the US is getting screwed - because he thinks the US can and should just bully the rest of the world into submission and the rest of the world can't do anything about. this is why he thinks the US has been so stupid for so long - because they haven't done this. he thinks that the rest of the world only has anything because the US lets them have it.

When you look at Chinese exports according to trade block/agreement and not according to nation, the US is 3rd and a pretty distant 3rd. Chinese exports more to ASEAN than anyone else, and the EU is their 2nd biggest customer. USA third.

The long and short of it is this....if the US can't get us and/or Mexico to crack, who in the fuck among major economies are they going to get to bend over? Not just sign a trade deal, but accept all of the trump bullshit and poison pills they're jamming into trade discussion?

They're trying to remake the world in their bullshit image using their trade and they don't get that nobody needs them as bad as they seem to insist we do.
