Absolutely. The core is there. We need to sign Duchene and a top 4 dman... that combined with the young guys developing... especially Demidov and Slaf. Next year we could be "for real."

Overhaul the D with 3 solid guys, 2 with Reinbacher, and you'll see a big difference. Habs fans overrate their guys. Struble, Savard, Matheson, Xhekaj are all shit. Carrier is middling but too small. Hutson is what he is. The Habs need to build up that D big time.

Up front the team has a lot of garbage. Yeah the turnover is coming but Gallagher, Laine, Armia, Dvo etc need upgrades. Too old to go a full 60 minutes.
