Pretty crazy how much that 1 inexcusable Woll goal (Gadjovich from Nosek and Kulikov) has impacted the series.

It's really tough for the top 4 to play well enough that 4 guys getting minutes and providing 0.00 isn't a massive boat anchor.

Scott Laughton is basically a grittier, more leader-beany version of David Kampf. Aside from that, they're basically the same player, and it's pretty hilarious how little an improvement we bought with the 1st round pick we spent on him.

Calle Jarnkrok being a useless offensive black hole again in the playoffs is completely expected. And then Pontus Holmberg has been where offensive plays go to die all season. McMann is a genuine disappointment though. Really thought he'd be a player that'd thrive on playoff-style hockey, but he's been almost a complete nonentity out there.

I also have a really hard time understanding why Jarnkrok & Holmberg have such an ironclad lock on their roster spots. How do those guys play every game, but Robertson's been a healthy scratch for eight straight games?

100% agreed with all of this.

I like Laughton a lot more than Kampf but it is beyond stupid to spend a 1st rounder on a guy like that. A 1st rounder should be getting you a difference maker.

Meh. Auston scores a goal in game 3 or 4 and this is a different series.

If anyone scored us 1 more goal in games 3 or 4 it's a different series though. More than one thing can be true at once. We can need more from Auston and we can have 1/3rd of our forward group taken up by offensive boat anchors.

What if we win game 5 and forfeit game 6 by sending Reeves and AHL crew to beat crap out of cats before game 7?
Cats have to dress top crew for game 6

Evan Rodrigues was a full participant at Florida’s practice today.

Second time in one series that he’s made a miraculous recovery after pretending to be dead in an attempt to draw a five-minute major.

Praise Jeebus for Evan’s recovery! He doth surely work miracles.
