When the Forum closed I ordered a red seat the next day. But to my recollection there was no auctioning off of artifacts. There was a section of the penalty box that ended up in the basement of what is now La Cage Aux Sports at the Bell Centre (what was called Ovation! when the Molson Centre first opened) but other than that I have no idea what happened to anything else that was in there. It's certainly all long gone now.I have one of the auction catalogs.
In two of those games we only scored one goal. Stolarz might have helped but unless he was posting a shutout we were losing those gamesIf I’m not mistaken…
Stolarz gave up 5 goals once all season + playoffs.
Panthers scored 5 or more goals in the 3 of 6 games after Stolarz got hurt.

Winners find ways to win and are willing to do whatever it takes.they knew exactly what they were doing taking out Stolarz.
I only have a piece of the boards and a small square of a seat. Someone messaged me that there were about 200 green seats out back of the gardens waiting for the garbage truck to get them. I suspect that even if the Leafs had scored in overtime in game 3, they would have lost in game 7and got shutout in a third.
game 3 was the real killer.

We all saw that blood well before the playoffs even began. Gameplay during the regular season was less than fortifying. All the shortcomings were visible to all of us. But being an optimistic bunch we hoped, and prayed, they'd get it all together for the playoffs. Nope.If they win game 3, they very, very likely win the series. There's a huge difference when an experienced team like the Panthers is on their heels, or smell blood. After coming back and winning game 3, they smelled blood.

You underestimate this team’s choking capabilities.
I mean, fuck, they only just barely avoided going from three up on the Sens to playing in a game seven they surely would have puked all over themselves in by getting thoroughly outplayed in game six but somehow managing to hang on and win.

One of those games we had a 3-1 lead…..which would have put us up 3-0 on the series, and changes everything.
