The rumblings on the Raptors side of things is that Pelley is going to be more involved, and that Ed wants front office "streamlining". Which I think might mean no senior hockey suit as a President.
 
First time in a long time that leafs are gonna need some creativity out of their gm. Not sure treliving is that guy. Sure would be nice to do something cool that would set them up for many years, like acquire a Dobson. Don't know how they do that without trading willy but that's not my job.

Ekblad is fine but acquiring another aging ufa that slowly gets worse every year is a cycle that I'm tiring of. It's so hard to get that cornerstone d without drafting one.

Like Mindz said, just bring them at a decent number, even if slight overpay, and let the rising cap wash away the pain.

As long as we win, who fucking cares anyway. So, if we think he's going to get us there, pay him and let's go.
