If the Oilers win the Cup, can he celebrate on the ice with the rest of team? Missing that would suck most.Sucks for Hyman to miss out on this after his contributions.

Yes. Injured players still celebrate on ice. Forsberg did in 01 when he got injured in the conf. finals. If the Oilers win the Cup, can he celebrate on the ice with the rest of team? Missing that would suck most.
Don’t think so - pretty sure Fla was favouredLet me guess… the one lone wolf was Toronto/Florida series?
Could have sworn I read that there was an anomaly for that round in that the Leafs were favoured to win the series but were the underdog for game 1.Don’t think so - pretty sure Fla was favoured
McDavid gets his cup and then comes home to fulfill his destiny.
Sacrifice for the greater good
It was fun to think about while the Oilers were disappointing, but they've left the Leafs in the dust at this point.
Yeah, not a chance in hell McDavid leaves Edmonton to come to Toronto now. Not when the Oilers are finally a legit contender and the Leafs are a diminished shit-show with a completely disillusioned fanbase.
He’d have to be out of his goddamned mind to make that move.
yupstill a chance for a retirement tour type contract when he's in his late 30s. If the Leafs are a playoff team at that point.
