2025 NHL UFA/Trade Thread

Petr Popovic was big. He didn't play big, however. I dont know much about Hague other than the fact that he's a big physical specimen. I dont see that he has many penalty minutes, something I'd expect to see if he was playing as big as his size. Not that he has to fight, but he should be blowing guys up. Does he do this, or does he play like a big puss? Struggle isn't as big but I know he can play tough.

Then whoever turns out best of the young guys can replace Matheson.

Last summer the Habs were offered a 1st round pick for Xhekaj. Hague is better than Xhekaj. Even if HuGo get him just to deal him, a 6'5", 245lb defenseman who can hit and fight has that same X factor, an X factor that Jayden Struble will never have.

Teams that win Cups have BIG players. I love Hutson but you need a counterbalance.
