OT: Movies/TV Shows

Now you’re just being dumb.

As I expected though, Andor rolled right into Rogue One.

Waiting to see how they top that series though. Are they going to do Chewy and Solo rolling into episode 4?
About what?
You think andor was bad or that star wars is good? Or both?

Star Wars isn’t bad.

I think remakes of the first 6 with high budgets would be cool though.

Empire strikes back is solid.

They did a good job filling in gaps with Andor. Best series of the bunch.

This is why I said rewrites and redos would be awesome.

Saw the first one in the cinema because my brother was jacked to see it. It was okay. Saw Empire Strikes Back on VHS, it was okay. Got halfway through Return of the Jedi and as soon as I saw the ewoks I said fuck this. All they were doing was inventing toys to put in the McDonald's Happy Meals.

A buddy who's a sci-fi need bugged me to See Episode 1 so I went with him and stood in line with all the geeks. The movie was boring as hell and Jar-Jar Binks was insulting, or at least it would have been had I been a Star Wars devotee. That was the last Star Wars-related thing I ever saw. Haven't watched any of the numerous sequels and prequels that have followed.

IMO, Star Trek was always a superior franchise. It was more of a thinking person's sci-fi. Star Wars was like bubblegum pop for kids. Wrath of Kahn was better than any Star Wars movie ever.

Always been a Trekkie, from the start. Enjoyed some Star Wars movies, then lost track of all the projects and never felt a need to catch up. Don't really feel a need to catch up with all of the Star Trek stuff either. 😄

I saw the original in the theater
Drive-in for me.
What made it extra memorable was that at the time my father was doing carpet in custom vans (you'd need to remember the 70's lol) and the one we took to see Star-Wars was fully done up with one of those murals with a buff guy holding a hot topless chick, both of them on a chariot where the back wheels of the van were the chariot wheels.

I was maybe 10 at the time, thought we were hot shit rolling in in that.

Yeah, I never got into The Next Generation and all the other spinoffs either, just the original series and movies.

Truth be told now, I find I can't watch the original series anymore other than a few clips now and then, it really seems too low budget/cheesy now.
