But mostly Skinner.

When you start every game down 2 goals you dont win much. And since Connor and Leon have been around the Oilers have had the kind of goaltending that would need to aspire just to be considered mediocre.

You blame Skinner if the rest of the team did their job to expectations

Oils arent winning the cup if you flipped goalies

If 97 had a few come to Jesus moments like Marchand , Reinhart, or Bennet the series is over

The loss of Hyman was massive. Kane getting penalized to the point where he couldn't play his game was huge. Ekholm playing with a core injury made him much less effective also. But all of these things pale in comparison to having sub-.900 goaltending in practically every game. You can't win if you're forever trying to dig your way out of holes created by mediocre goalies.

Hyman was a big loss but everyone is hurt in the finals

Maybe stop giving out glorious scoring chances and your not digging your way out

You wouldn't cut us that slack but somehow, your pet Oilers are cut slack constantly. You have stated many times, unless you win, you are a failure yet you don't apply that standard to your new team.

I never said they weren't a failure, just not as complete a failure as the Leafs. Leafs fan would kill to make 2 finals appearances. They'd kill to make 2 CONFERENCE finals appearances.
