Was always a longshot imo but one that had a bit of a hype train pushing him. His production in Finland was pedestrian as fuck before he ever got over here. Had a good WJHC and played a "pro game" or some such shit, so some people fell in love with him.

If you're scoring 6 goals in 54 games in Liiga in your D+1 season, you're probably not going to make it.

I don't know man, I think he could go a long way towards replacing Marner and Tavares as I keep being assured is a super serious problem that we're doomed if we can't solve.
