Yep, technically it's Laval's farm team. Given the logistical nightmare of being an NHL farm team, they also need a pool of players to recall as needed.

He should be traded because right now he has perceived value. The more he plays and his shortcomings are exposed, the less value he will have.

The Calder Cup champs from Abbotsford represent BC's first professional hockey title since the 1970 Vancouver Canucks won the championship in their final season in the old Western Hockey League. Organizationally, I don't know if any Canucks farm team has ever won a damn thing before this.
