There have been some positive responses in small, very local communities, too. Just cut a check to Mendocino County's KZYX the other day. Looking like they're going to fry the fed cut to the station. Folks have come out of the woods to get it done.

There are legal benifits to a pardon too.

She can't hide behind fifth ammendment protection should congress subpoena her, and the grand jury testimony can be released as her appeal on her conviction will disappear.

She would be seriously in danger of purjury, which she has already been convicted of.

Right now my guess is she is is serious danger of dying.
