Of course, most organization try to cover up and settle before going to trial as trials are costly and damaging. Even if at no fault, it's often better to try to settle first as you never know what type of damage trials will do. Case in point, all players and Hockey Canada got damaged in this story.

They are not costly or damaging at all if the organization in question has a strong policy and a culture that doesn't tolerate rape by shrugging it off as "boys will be boys" behavior. They also need to have a culture of transparency rather than codes of silence.
Even a knuckle dragging troll like will admit conservative women a better looking than liberal/leftist ones. Even the ugliest on Fox is better looking than 95% of the women on MSNBC (eg Shannon Bream v Joy Reid)
