OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

Losing to the shit teams when you're a really good team that beats the good teams, in any sport, is fucking infuriating.

Also, Loperfido can't throw the ball more than 20 feet.
 
Disaster inning. Either they're blasting them out of the park or blooping them into the outfield one after the other. Loperfido has been a nightmare defensively. Made a great catch and then decided to do a gratuitous rollover semi-somersault and drops the ball, leading to more of this shit.
 
Loperfido's hitting is fantastic, but his fielding was atrocious today, and his throws might actually go backwards instead of forward.

have you ever watched sports before. Yes it's absolutely unsurprising in any way. Coming into the season Baltimore was considered a top contender, they've had a bad season largely because of bad pitching, but they still have a lot of great young talent and can beat any team on any day, which is the same for all teams in all sports really. At the end of the day it does not matter if you lose 1-0 or 16-2, it's still one loss and the Jays were always going to regress back to the mean to some extent from a historic run.
 
yeah it's been three bad games. I'm by no means a jays optimist but not really any cause for concern that did not exist on saturday...

It doesn't matter to the standings, but it matters to get blown out three games in a row, two to the last place team. Yeah, a 50-0 loss is still just one loss, but probably would signal something more than a 2-1 loss. I'm not saying the team is a sham or throw in the towel or anything. I'm just annoyed that after such an amazing showing, they're falling hard like this in three successive games.
