I can’t bring myself to sit through 30 minutes of that and my skipping around isn’t landing on anything interesting. What’s the gist of it?
 
I put aside my pride and sanity and listened to a bit of the dangle thing. I got bored and had to stop early but yeah, seems par for the course. What a disaster of a person and family.

Thanks, this helped, even though still a tough listen. And yeah, Marner is insanely fragile and literally can’t be anywhere other than high atop a pedestal. Fuck that guy, it’s only going downhill for him from here.

Even if he’s so quick to wilt in the face of any criticism, I wouldn’t have ever believed that he’d bolt from his hometown and buddies and a great team (the only one he’s known) to hide away in Vegas. I don’t think it would be reasonable for anyone to have believed that, because it’s literally never happened before.

It wasn't only reasonable, it was incredibly predictable. We know this because many of us predicted it a long ass time ago.

Because we wanted him traded before that could happen. We didn't see the organization being this stupid as a possibility.

Shame on us.

With that said, a lot of us wanted him to walk at the end of his deal when it became clear last summer that this was where it was all going
