It was so unforgettable for me that I even remember that the Detroit Lions hosted the MNF game that night and Eric Hipple became a one game Lions legend.

I was disappointed at the end of the 79 and 80 seasons but 81 was crushing.

I also made the mistake of watching the last ever Expos home game and was bawling during the 7th inning stretch.
