I flipped to their game and their French PBP guy sounds more QMJHL level, he has a stronger accent and less of a polished "radio" voice.

I think the Habs French radio guy is Martin McGuire, he's really good too. He'd be a good successor.

I liked listening to Joe watching the leafs all these years. Thought he was great until I saw some of his Maple MAGA leaning X posts.

Then I just thought he was cray whenever I heard his voice. It’s amazing how one’s professional accomplishments can be questioned when you realize their political leanings.
 
Hell, we all know Mario Tremblay was a rabid separatist, I still liked him as a player. I know some players who are rabid democrats, doesn't bother me, their choice
 
Gaston Therrien retire today. All of a sudden.

This follows Alain Crete, Mario Tremblay, Chantelois and others who are out.

The cost cutting at Bell Media is well underway.
