Playoff GDT | Game #5 | Thursday, 5/14/26 7:00 PM EST (Series: Habs 2 - Sabres 2)

Watched the game on delay, and I was aware of the outcome. A few observations:

1. When it was 3-2 BUF early in the 2nd the Suzuki line had two awful shifts. Real dog shit. They were bailed out by 21 and 75, and it may have saved the game.

2. Tuch is not doing himself any favours for the UFA season. Invisible when it matters.

3. 48 and 93… yowza.

1. They got completely caved in. Shot attempts at five-on-five with Suzuki and Norris on the ice were 29-12 Sabres.

Sabres were dominating but couldn’t score. Dobes stopped Tage on a breakaway… and that seemed to ring a bell because the Habs suddenly took control.

2. Tuch is such a rare player that he’ll get a very sweet contract this summer regardless of how this series ends for him

as an ageing bet in a playoff choker, who do you think will give him a massive contract my money is on Toronto

I think Buffalo lets him walk and takes the 10-11 mil and gets 2 decent players

They made the playoffs and advanced , new GM would have signed him already if they were close to a contract

The Leafs will overpay a Raddysh dont see it on a forward

I think Hawks , Utah or Seattle
