Need to find a guy that the old schoolers hate but is actually good, albeit flawed. Dobson was a perfect example of this, old boys club hated him as a player so he became available and voila. But they're not available every year. Those come around once every so often, also like when Colorado got Toews. I'm sure the Habs will be on the lookout for those types though. Taking advantage of dumb teams is what the best teams have done for a long while, but even they don't make those acquisitions annually. They have to be available, and that's not completely within the habs control.
