This is the extent of my interest in him.
I've complained before about the disconnect between front office and head coach being fertile ground for a roster being misused and there being no coherence between team building strategy and on ice play. Patrick Roy would appear on the surface to be the exact type of "dig in" OBC that could fuck an entire data driven team build up by misusing half of the roster, crying for players that suit his style of player better when the team is struggling, etc.

Feels like it wouldn’t be a non-data driven coach. But its also not surprising that Patrick Roy interviews well.

Everyone talks to everyone at this point. Leafs will have meetings with everyone in the top ~5 prospects just so they've done their diligence if a team does blow them away for the #1. McKenna will having interviews/meetings with everyone in the top 4-5 picks for the same reason, what if they want to trade up for him, etc.
