Sexy prestoThat another one of your alts?
Yeah it does. If Trump is a fascist (which he is) and you befriend him, that makes you every bit as bad. You are also a fascist.
Sexy presto
Those red Be Great hats were really stupid.
It's a great quote, but Trump is not a Nazi though. He's a total piece of shit but we have to be somewhat realistic here. I just don't agree with guilt by association, I mean 77 million people voted for Donald Trump and he meets with dozens of people every day. If everyone's a Nazi then nobody's a Nazi. What do you call nine people sitting down for a friendly dinner with one person wearing a Nazi armband?
Ten Nazis.
Nah, still buddying up to a guy threatening your country deserves the traitor stuff imoyou're really overstating this argument. I get that supporting Trump is not the same thing as being a smart, measured conservative (if such a thing even exists anymore), but his being friends with the guy and maybe being a long-time conservative is not a crime. Serious character flaws yes, but come on ... That is not sedition and it doesn't make him a Nazi.
It’s really not exhausting to say fuck Gretzky. Actually feels pretty good.Is it not exhausting to hate every person you disagree with politically? I think many Maga folks are stupid, others are brainwashed and others are simply misinformed. There are very few I actually hate though. I reserve that emotional for more heinous crimes.
I have a family member who moved further right last year (he's starting to see the light now, thankfully, at least as far as Trump/MAGA are concerned, and hates Elon) but the fact this always gets mentioned annoys him because it's somewhat of an intellectually dishonest argument in his view. It is an interesting debate, because we know that Trump has been winking and nodding at the far right for 9 years now. But we also have to be accurate. We all remember the Trump quote: "Very fine people on both sides", when Trump was talking about Charlottesville and the Nazi/Respect Our History march/protest?
We all know what he was talking about in that quote. Still, MAGA will insist that Trump was actually talking about the average/good people that marched along side the Nazis and not the Nazis/White supremacist themselves. They were just there to protest the erasing of history (good or bad).
Even if those "very fine people" showed up there with good or innocent intentions, got to the March first with their good/innocent intention friends and community and started the March first with just themselves and no one else, once Nazis started to join in on the March and you did not leave and loudly disavow the march, those "very fine people's" intentions and motives start to align and sympathize with the Nazis. At best, if you keep on Marching, you become a Nazi sympathizer, at worst you become a Nazi yourself.
Maybe Wayne came to MAGA by pure desire for lower taxes and the hate of DEI and "Wokeness", but once MAGA decided to be for annexation of Canada, and you did not speak out and loudly disavow the MAGA movement, your silence starts to legitimize that movement and at best you become a MAGA sympathizer and at worst you become a MAGAt.
And you know what? MAGA people are not great Canadians - being for or NOT against annexation or your Country by a bigger country - and do not deserve to be honoured as such.
they didn’t put themselves down as neo-Nazis, and you had some very bad people in that group. But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides. You had people in that group – excuse me, excuse me. I saw the same pictures as you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down, of to them, a very, very important statue
you had people – and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally – but you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists, okay?
Now, in the other group also, you had some fine people, but you also had troublemakers and you see them come with the black outfits and with the helmets and with the baseball bats – you had a lot of bad people in the other group too.
deserves criticism, sure. But it's not sedition was the point.Nah, still buddying up to a guy threatening your country deserves the traitor stuff imo
He was given all those things because of what he represented to canada... now what he represents is a traitor and yes, you can go and remove the shit he got.To be clear, my argument isn't "Gretzky isn't a piece of shit." Of course he is. In fact I had a pretty good idea he was before this all happened. I just don't feel the need to start cancelling and removing everything he was given for being a good hockey player (as meaningless as some of that stuff is). He is friends with a piece of shit. That's the crime we're talking about here. It's a bit much. He's not Bill Cosby.
It's a rare occurrence for me to have to defend Trump. Still, it's also a fact that he actually condemned the neo-Nazis in that speech ... Whether you believe him or not is a different story. Still, he did say point blank that the neo-Nazis and white nationalists "should be condemned totally".
They may as well have said "Be best"Those red Be Great hats were really stupid.
No, Trump and the 77 million people who voted for him AFTER seeing what he tried to do his first term are definitely fucking nazis.
