GDT: Stanley Cup Final Game 6 Canes @ Vegas 6/14 8:00

This has been bothering me since last night, when I saw him lift the Cup after Rod. The same question was posed to me by one of my work colleagues (who is also ThinIce’s son).

I thought I knew all the key people in the Canes organization, but I’m not sure who the guy in the front wearing the gray suite next to Jordo is. Help!

Sure is, and you could tell when Roddy handed off the Cup that he wanted Chris next...that dude has been in the trenches with this team for a long long time and his wife use to sit in Section 109 back in the good old days when Pucking Lamplighter Jim had his season tickets.

Yea, he used to drive an old beatup blue pickup truck with his families construction business name on it for the first several years when times were lean. He is funny as hell
 
I haven't been able to express my joy and excitement with this accomplishment. I still want to soak it in. I'm moved my butt to Greeneville TN close to the NC border 5 years ago. I'm pretty much the only one (that I know) that follows any type of hockey. NASCAR is it around here. I have to explain how great this trophy is even though most admit they have heard of the Stanley cup.
That said, people I've known my whole life are calling me and sending messages to congratulate me and my Canes. So much love. I'm coming back from that awful cancer and have retired. Thank God for the VA in Johnson City.
