Just realized this... Vic Black was on Axl's unprotected list. Once the draft starts he's not available to be traded is he? Or is he just unprotected on Braby's team now?

I thought those guys could still be traded, but it's a good point that I don't recall coming up before. I guess I'll have to work something out with Braby in terms of a "player to be named later" or draft pick?

Yeah, you'd need to work out a whole new trade....cause that one would be void for sure.

Unless there's an angle I'm missing I see no reason that we couldn't just say that Black remains unprotected?

You just can't trade players you don't own.....so there wasn't a trade.




If they want to make a new 2-2 deal, they're more than welcome to.
