Three Halifax Mooseheads among that group. Impressive Euro recruiting and draft manoeuvering by GM Cam Russell the last few years down here. Unfortunately they don't hang around long enough to produce a lot of championships, outside the one (Ehlers,Drouin, Mackinnon, likely Hischier left with all or some eligibility remaining).

I mean, part of it is location (like Québec) to be able to lure better players in locations that are much more attractive than, say, Val D'or or Baie Comeau, but at the same time, you still have to be able to identify & convince players to go there instead of the other big markets like Québec/Rimouski/Drummondville. They've just been hitting grand slams almost every time for close a decade, not to mention being able to trade for players like MacKinnon when he refused to play in Baie Comeau for the closest thing to nothing you could imagine.
