2019 Offseason Thread

We did the regular draft in one sitting on Fantrax last year, could do that again before Monday.
 
Though how does it work if we want to move picks mid-draft? I don't remember how that worked last time.
 
I guess you just trade them in Fantrax, that should work I think, and the new owner of the pick would go ahead and make their selection.

Yes... way better.

And yeah, you just make the trade on Fantrax and it updates the draft board.
 
Ok... all players from the dispersal draft have been added to their new teams, all the draft picks have either been traded or assigned to their new teams and all the unprotected players have been moved to the player pool for the draft (except for the two teams' players who had three taken in the dispersal draft).

The three new teams will just need to fix their rosters to make them legal... and in doing so, please doublecheck that I added all the right players to your rosters. Thanks.

I guess we may as well get this party started. All managers should doublecheck their rosters & picks to make sure everything is correct. I added the extra bench spot and turned on the draft to start at 12:00pm EST.

Deckie or Hairnova can push that back if there's anything else we still need to do. Otherwise let Bull know he's OTC and we can begin.
 
Not sure when Bull's pick will come in, but I'm teaching tomorrow afternoon until around 3:30. Can get to my picks after that if I'm up. Trades are on the table if anyone is interested
 
Fantrax draft question? Do I have a time limit to pick or am I able to log in and make my pick whenever when it is my turn?
 
I believe we used a 12 hour clock. That is to ensure that people have time to pick if they're working or tied up... and to make an informed decision. It's still preferable that people try to make timely picks and not sit around for hours on end waiting for trade offers.

Of note, you can create draft lists in fantrax, so if you're 4 or 5 spots away can just list your top few and have it auto-sepect if you know you're gone. Or you can create draft lists but not have it auto-pixk, if you want to review your list at the last minute. Was it HP last year who averaged like 30 seconds per pick?

You can also have it email you all picks, or at least give you warnings when you're on deck or at bat which are nice too

Or, if you’re using the app on IOS you can enable push notifications to let you know when you’re On Deck, Your Turn, etc.

Yeah, I always use the the auto-pick feature in all of these Fantrax drafts. I tend to have anywhere from a 1-30 second average pick time.

I draft like I fuck.
